In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Ecuador showed varying trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a steady number of weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K in late December and fluctuating around 2.4K to 3K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for the app showed an overall upward trend, starting from 68.5K and reaching a peak of 67.9K before settling at around 66.3K by the end of March.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent download rate with minor fluctuations, beginning at 2.6K and ending at approximately 2.2K. Active users showed a gradual increase from 43.9K to 47.8K in early March, before stabilizing around 46.5K towards the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a steady download rate, starting at 1.5K and maintaining around 1K to 1.5K throughout the quarter. The active user count started at 22.3K, slightly fluctuated, and ended at 23.5K by the end of March.

Cabify showed a decline in downloads throughout the quarter, beginning at 475 and dropping to 151 by the end of March. Active users also followed a similar declining trend, starting at 6.8K and ending at 5K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a relatively stable number of weekly downloads, starting at 233 and peaking at 303 in early March before slightly decreasing to 250 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed minor fluctuations, beginning at 3.6K and ending at 3.5K.
